Grand Reopening · PC / Steam

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This policy covers Grand Reopening: Shopping Center Simulator, developed by YGGARA CONSULTING under the YGGARA Gaming brand. Contact us about the data we process at support@yggaraconsulting.com.

The game uses local saves and Steam services for invite-based online play. The practices of mobile games using Google Play or AdMob do not apply to Grand Reopening.

1. Saves and settings

The game stores your shopping centre’s progress, shops, stock, in-game credits, settings and the nicknames needed for your game on your device. In multiplayer, the host computer processes and may save the shared state. Saves allow you to resume play; a multiplayer save may therefore contain participants’ nicknames and results.

2. Steam and online sessions

The game uses the Steam identifier, display name and session information needed to authenticate participants, create a private lobby, send invitations and enable connections or reconnections. Relevant gameplay data is exchanged between the host and participants.

Valve separately operates your Steam account, transactions and networking services. Its processing, recipients and transfers are explained in the Steam privacy policy.

3. Lobby chat

The versus lobby includes text chat. Your nickname and messages are visible to other participants. The game keeps a limited history within the session; these messages are not written to campaign or versus saves. Other participants may nevertheless take screenshots or make their own recordings.

4. Diagnostics and support

The game may create local technical logs containing its version, errors, session information and network identifiers. If you contact us, we process your contact address, message and any screenshots or logs you choose to attach to answer your request and investigate the issue. Review attachments before sending them.

5. Purposes and legal bases

Data needed for saves and online sessions provides the game features requested by the player. Support, session security and diagnostics rely on our legitimate interest in maintaining the game and answering requests. Depending on the processing, these uses rely on performance of the contract or that legitimate interest. The current game has no AdMob advertising or real-money purchases of in-game credits.

6. Recipients and retention

Session data is accessible to the host and other players as needed for gameplay. Support messages are accessible to the people handling your request and the email providers used to process it. We do not sell your data.

Local saves and logs remain on the device until deleted. Chat messages remain during the life of the lobby, subject to its history limit. Support correspondence is retained to handle the request and follow-up, then deleted when no longer needed, subject to legal obligations or a dispute. Valve retains its own data under its own policy.

7. Your choices and rights

You may play solo, choose your nickname, avoid chat, and manage or delete save files and logs on your device. Deleting your local copy does not delete a save held by another host. For data controlled by YGGARA, contact us to exercise your rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where applicable.

Requests about Steam accounts or Steam data should be directed to Valve. You may also contact a data protection authority, including the CNIL in France.

8. Security and changes

Online sessions check participant admission through Steam. These measures do not guarantee absolute security. If processing changes, for example through new online services, this page will be updated with a new date.
